Rookie detective Anna Travis has been assigned to her first murder case - a series of killings that has shocked even the most hardened on the force. Excellent, thoroughly detailed information
An excellent novel, meticulously researched, incredible detail. I'm hooked on this author, and this is an old novel. Can't wait for more current ones.

Dramatic and chilling
Good main character with a back story to wonder about. Interesting senior officer is of interest in this series too. I will read more.

A good read
I enjoyed the surprising twists in the plot and the dialogue was very descriptive. The narrator nailed the accents of the various characters beautifully

Clever plots
I had forgotten how good a spinner of suspenseful tales Lynda La Plante is... Though I'm sure I have read all her books and wayched many on the screen, I was surprised how little I had retained and I really enjoyed it.
Well narrated too. A great experience!

Outstanding storyteller and talented narrator
La Plante is an excellent writer: complex plots, believable dialogue, and well researched. Coupled with the talented narration of this series makes it a fabulous book to listen to.
