About this listen

Abby Tanner is content to live on her mountain while she creates beautiful works of art and enjoys the peace and quiet. All that changes when a strange golden spaceship crash lands on it. Now Abby has to deal with a golden ship, a tortured alien, and an insane local sheriff.

Zoran Reykill knew he had to find a safe place to heal after he'd escaped from a Curizan military post. When his symbiosis mother ship takes him to an unknown planet, he finds more than he expects - he finds his true mate. But Abby doesn't understand a thing Zoran says, and the local sheriff wants her, too. There's only one thing the king of Valdier can do: abduct his true mate.

Now Zoran has his hands full as he attempts to help Abby accept her new life, all the while keeping his true mate safe in his own world. He will need all the help he can get to convince this stubborn human that she doesn't need her mountain back on Earth - he just needs to keep her alive and away from the other males on his planet. No matter what, Zoran knows abducting the sensual beauty is something he'll never regret.

Start of a long and enjoyable series

The idea behind this book and the rest of the book is reasonably novel. It's compelling reading and told well. It doesn't manage to avoid the sexist tropes that plague romance writing but perhaps it wouldn't be romance if the dudes weren't huge and cut and their romantic interest somewhat reluctant. Nonetheless these tropes are the reason I wouldn't rank this series 5 stars.

David has the sexiest voice ever from all the male narrator i have listened too he just makes me feel every emotions the characters felt and well most of it is being hot and bothered (grins) thanks Susan this series is fantastic, it has everything hot sexy aliens and beautiful sassy feisty heroines :D Abby and Zoran are beautiful together and thanks again for writing this series, you are an amazing storyteller xox

Enjoyable listening to this book.

Enjoyable listening to this book whilst busy doing other things. Good narration but doesn’t quite do the female voices right. BOOK REVIEW If this blurb appeals to you, do yourself a favour if you have never read a Ms Smith book, do so. You will not be disappointed. Abby was just so nice and Zoran was a super hunky hot alien. The whole symbiosis and dragon part was fantastic. The action in this book plus all the characters we meet just made it a really enjoyable read. There is so much excitement going on with this story I cannot tell you about it without giving the story away. The ending is great. I just loved this book the first time I read it and feel the same about the rest of the series. I have owned this book for ages and read this series over and over and never tire of them. I have written this review as I now understand the importance of them to help authors work be acknowledged and apologise to Ms Smith for taking so long to do so.

A good series starter

A good story but the next books are better. Too many intimate scenes - honestly it ruins the story.
The narrator is very good.
Nice concept for a story
