About this listen
Once upon a time, I was a girl who believed in love and happily ever afters.
Now, the only thing I believe in is revenge.
Unfortunately for me, there’s only one man willing to help me. Hook.
I should have known it wouldn’t be out of the goodness of his heart. He doesn’t have one. No, Hook wants his ring on my finger and me on my knees before him, and he won’t take no for an answer.
I’m willing to pay any price in order to bring our mutual enemy down...even if it means I lose my soul in the bargain.
Content warning: abusive ex-partner (emotional, physical).

Loved it!
Good story, didn't realise how kinky it would be but it worked and I loved it. I wish the narrarators did the chpaters together it would have been so much better.

Happily not ever after! 😃
Worthy opponent was my very first book I read a few years ago and instantly fell in love with Tink and Hook. It was due to that book I was able to read the whole series. BDSM or kink is not my thing but reading through these books you see a different initmate side. I've now started listening to the series through audible.
Was disappointed in the 1st book narrators but loved the narrators in the 2nd. I gave 4 stars for this book, tink character slowly got into it and told the story rather than reading the story out loud. The male narrator unfortunately was the same guy from the 1st book 😥 he did try and the banter tink and hook had you couldn't always be slow and soultry in your words. fingers cross for the beast
