Great writing

Thoroughly beautiful

I liked the southern accent of the narrator, it suited the pace of the author. The sort of book that can only be a book because it is too beautiful and imagined to be anything but a story told to another. I felt like I was there despite growing up in Australia and never having been to the southern American states.
