So bored
Super thin plot. P is so dumb and annoying. Ugh. Can’t be bothered reading next one (I probably will).

A nice sequel
I enjoyed the sequel in the way it rounded out the original book, included more gods/esses and made a nice visual for the community surrounding. A few PerHades scenes could have been chosen to appear more selected (after some traumatic scenes, they seemed misplaced). Persephone’s control and exploration of power would have been a better storyline than the Janitor/Maintenance man but overall, it was enjoyable and looking forward to book 3.

Great story line, even better story telling
The book was well written, of course the raunchy bits were great but so is the love aspect too. I hope there’s going to be more as I just binge listened to both books in this series and can’t wait!
The narrator made this audio book for me, she so perfectly feels what the characters are feeling which entangles you more in the story.

Excited for more
This book gave more wrath that is expected from the Gods. I truly enjoyed the first two but this book showed Persephone coming into her own power. The writing is incredible and can’t wait for more

Loved this story
Persephone certainly needed the harsh lessons….she pain in the butt but the story was full of laughs from the other Gods and sadness… a good lesson for us in that all actions have consequences….. the narrator is brilliant

New developments, story doesn't go stale
I really enjoyed the first book but have enjoyed the second book so much more. The story develops and continues on and doesn't loose out on interesting events like often happens in series where they end up happy together at the end of the first book. And of course, all the spice. Excited to start the next book in the series.

Erotica with plot potential
The plot and characters have potential, I’m curious to see where the story goes. I’m also looking forward to the character development. Especially Apollo.
There are plenty of fun moments and a few that had my chest constricting with emotion.
However, there is a lot of sex in this book. Possibly too much, some of which felt inappropriate for the situation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no prude, I love a good story full of detailed, hot and steamy scenes. (I even have a few of my favourite filthy scenes from various stories book marked for revisiting) But I do prefer them to be more drawn out then in this story. Not so… wham bam.
The narrator does do a fantastic job of pushing intensity into these sexy encounters though. I had a few moments when I was out in public and had to turn off the book due to a deep blush and feeling like I was personally engaging in a dirty act of public indecency.
Over all I enjoyed the story. But it didn’t make it into my top 50. I probably won’t reread.

Heartache and Understanding
I thoroughly enjoy being emersed in the greek mythology with a modern day twist. Persephone and Hades have always been my favourite pair x While Persephone is still struggling between the mortal world and the gods she must finally confront loss.

Good but....
So obviously a lot of the *themes* present in the previous book are continued but this one felt... rushed and just not well thought out. At any given moment they go from hating each other to having their "lips collide" and it kind of takes away from the actual plot. Sure there would be many readers looking just for the more graphic side of this novel but for those who were interested in the storyline, it's a disappointment.
