About this listen
Tilly hates her stepfather, Dave. He abuses her mother, but she refuses to leave him.
Frightened for her own safety, Tilly asks to go into foster care and is placed with Cathy. Tilly arrives with a graze on her cheek and Cathy becomes increasingly concerned by Dave’s behaviour, especially when she learns he has been showering Tilly with gifts. While she’s busy looking after Tilly and trying to keep her safe, Cathy is also worried about her own daughter, Lucy. She has a very difficult decision to make that will affect the rest of her life, and Cathy hopes she makes the right choice.

loved this
absolutely amazing as always, look forward to the next one. Cathy never disappoints and I'm always disappointed when I'm finished as I don't want them to end.

Another AMAZING BOOK
Just wow, cathy glass you have done it again. it was only released yesterday in Australia and I have finished it already! what a book, I was moved by your performance once again and I am so happy you welcomed your grandchild into the world whom is healthy and Lucy is doing all okay. the most painful part of reading your books is having to wait for the next one to be released once you have finished it. Waiting patiently for your next book about Tilly and Jackson

Amazing
Once again Cathy has written an amazing recount of her time caring. Plus Denica has such a soothing voice to listen to.

Dull & Disappointing
A very dull & disappointing storyline compared to earlier Cathy Glass novels. No real ending as they want you to buy her next book to find out.
What made the experience nearly unbearable was the narrator, who used such inappropriate intonations & made the teenagers sound like 3 year olds.
