Publisher's Summary
He wanted nothing at all...until he found she had everything to give.... Sunder lead singer and guitarist Sebastian Stone has everything - fans, fame, and fortune. He also has a heart full of bitterness and a reputation for a short-fused temper. But an outward reputation rarely reveals the true man inside.
Facing assault charges after trying to protect his younger brother, Sebastian is sent to Savannah, Georgia, to lie low until the dust settles in LA. Shea Bentley is beautiful, kind, and hiding from the very lifestyle Sebastian has always embraced. When the mysterious, tattooed stranger begins hanging out at the bar where she works, Shea is quick to recognize he is nothing but trouble, but she's helpless to the way her body lights up every time his intense gray eyes tangle with hers. They both soon find themselves drowning in a sea of desire and passion that won't let them up for air.
Sebastian knows firsthand secrets never die, and he's not the only one who's hiding them. Loving someone always comes with a price. But will it be Shea's past that costs them everything?

Capturing
This book is an amazing story like. It’s capturing and you just want to continue listening. As soon as this book was finished and wanted to start the second book right away. I just need to know what happens!
Twists that you just don’t expect.

descriptive descriptive descriptive
congrats A L Jackson you have created a brilliant cliffhanger which I didn't see coming and wasn't going to follow with the next book, but now I am hooked without a choice. I hope I'm right and the story continues.
the 3 word repetition I can see it's meaning, the Intent to push the listener deeper to have them feel the sensual emotions between hero and heroine.
the book has a hard gritty violent story background but the words, the thread the author keeps spinning asks the listener to quieten and feel.
admittedly I felt frustrated in more places than one for the description seemed to repeat and go on forever. I was about to stop when the story picked up and away I went again.
if you like descriptive, slow paced listening with smiles and tears coexisting then this is the book for you...but
SPOILET ALERT....
In this book no FINAL HEA and one huge gut wrenching cliffhanger

No X Factor Here
Is there anything you would change about this book?
As with other listeners, my experience of the author's penchant for repeating phrases and words three times over really grated after a while; not only was this unnecessary, it lent an amateurish tone to the writing. There was a good story to be had here but it didn't get told. I felt the author tried too hard to turn this into a literary piece with a lot of unnecessary filler and self talk which overshadowed the storyline.
What didn’t you like about Andi Arndt and Sebastian York ’s performance?
I didn't enjoy Sebastian York's performance at all. I agree with other readers that he has a great voice however I think it's better suited to documentary rather than erotic fiction. Andi Arndt's performance was okay but I would've preferred a voice that sounded like less like a little girl and more like a young woman.
Any additional comments?
This story has potential but, as is, missed the mark. It reads like it got the editor's sign-off a few drafts too early.

Overall story great but...
Loved the narraters. Good romance and drama.
Didn’t like two things. The repeating a word three times for dramatic effects all the time - irritating. Then the sex scenes dragged on with over describing each move that I was fast forward through then as got
bored.
