A believable plot
A great listen with a slow burn and great ending. Reader performance excellent. I love Millie s books and look forward to listening more of them.

interesting and entertaining
you can really feel for the characters. amusing and heart-warming, and it gave me some cooking inspiration on the side. recommend

Happy Ending Lifts Us All
A well written book with nicely portrayed characters
The main protagonist is very meek and annoying at times but triumphs in the end

An Absolutely Beautiful Listen!
I'm such a fan! Milly Johnson has written such a beautiful book here that has you rooting for the friendships just as much as the love story. This was a wonderful listen, had me spring cleaning my house as I turned up the volume. Colleen Prendergast has such an easy voice to listen to, she absorbs the characters and I have no trouble readjusting from book to book. what I wouldn't give for a lunch with both of these women!
