I loved it!
This was my first KF Breene but it will not be my last. I loved it. The world building, character assembling, creature creating was sublime and the narration!! I think ths person is my new favourite. Her voice is very soothing, I loved it.

Slow then very funny. Warning - lots of kinky sex
The story was slow to start and I almost didn't push through the first couple of chapters. I only did because I love K F Breene other books.
It then became hilarious. The heroine was kickass. I love her.
There was very little story at end but lots if steamy sex

Full on, sexy, dark and a gripping story!
This book was definitely not what I was expecting, but I got more than I bargained for.
The characters were insane, it was fantastic.
Erotic, hilarious, dark, sexy, confusing, and intense.
Absolutely loved every second.

Love the story
I loved this series when I first read it so I decided to download the audiobook. The narration is good for the most part but I hate how she does the MMCs voice. It’s not enough to ruin the books so I’m probably going to get the rest of the series on audio too but it does annoy me. All the other voices are great, especially Hadriel when he’s drunk but Nyfain sounds like it’s the voice of an old villain who smokes too much.

I enjoyed it all
left on a cliff hanger... Prince Nyphain gone to defend his kingdom only half healed and .. has to go and rescue him.
looking forward to part 2 of this story.
I have also enjoyed Tillie's narration.

Not what I was expecting!
I loved Finlay, the sassy heroine, and the confusing broody Nyfain. But my favourites were the hilarious side kicks and their s$x-capades. Honestly, I didn't think this book was going to be funny, but I lol many times 😂

Gratuitous steam
This is just relentless sex talk/scenes and swearing. There are some very funny moments, but by half way through I was sick to death of being barraged with explicit writing and quit. I wanted a novel, not endless material for ‘alone’ time.
