disappointing ending

Decent story. Narrator's north american accent wasn't great. Maybe I was expecting too much .

Did I miss something

It seemed that this author needed to get the book finished quickly. Started off great but the last 2 hrs or so was a let down he might have had to get to a dentist appointment or something
