Love DC Smith
What a well written series this is. It’s so fantastic I can’t stop reading them. This ending is rather sad. I do hope it’s not the last.

The DC Smith series is fantastic!
Get them all now. You won’t be disappointed. Great characters and ripping yarns. I wish there were more.

Fabulous Narration
Courtesy of the Plus Catalogue I have read all in the DC Smith series by Peter Grainger and have enjoyed them all.
I do suggest reading them in the correct order as reference is made to the previous cases.
The Narrator was excellent.

DC Smith in Dire Straits
Continuing Smith's grind to retirement. I really live the cleverness and literality of this character . I think we share some personality features , and both get on peoples nerves sometimes !.

I love the stories, the characters, the narration and the humour. This one has ended with a cliffhanger.

Loved it. V disappointed it was a sad ending...I hope DC Smith survives to enjoy his retirement.
Looking forward to Peter's next series. I'm keen to hear how the other police develop their characters..

Excellent
Listened to this entire series one after the other. Excellent storylines which incorporate flashbacks and overlapping ideas among other techniques. Description and character make the reader feel involved in place, time and community. The narration is easy to listen to with excellent voice differentiation of characters. Highly recommend - listen in order of writing.
