This review is only for the narrator

As soon as the narrator started my heart sank. He has a very slow, strongly accented way of speaking and enunciating that doesn't flow like normal speaking - it makes the story stilted. It sounds like a primary school reader. I can't get past the painful narration so will have to read the book myself. Very disappointed.
