Enjoyable, cosy mystery.

I believe Hazel Holt based her "Taviscombe" on Minehead in Somerset, UK. If you Google up some images you can get a real sense of the place she is describing in her books, the beach and thatched cottages etc. I found the narrator was just right for Sheila Malory's voice and Mrs Dudley's in particular and I love the way she is bossed around by her animals.
