About this listen
The first time somebody tried to kill him was an accident.
The second time was deliberate.
Now Paul Mulchrone finds himself on the run with nobody to turn to except a nurse who has read one-too-many crime novels and a renegade copper with a penchant for violence. Together they must solve one of the most notorious crimes in Irish history.
Or else they’ll be history.
A Man with One of Those Faces is the first book in Caimh McDonnell's critically acclaimed Dublin Trilogy series, which melds fast-paced action with a distinctly Irish acerbic wit.

Well read
Great characters from Dublin and surrounds. The landscape and city is described beautifully and the inhabitants of the story are all good, even the babies. For me the crowd watching the bomb disposal were the best. People l have met infact.
Highly recommended

Outstanding!
I love the Bunny series of books, and the narration really brings it to life. By turns, it’s funny, touching tense and violent. The characters are fully realised and very Irish. I love the sense of humour even in times of crisis and the twisting plot keeps you guessing to the end.

Great book
This is my second listen this year. the howle series is very good. the Voice actor is up there with Ruppert Degas , and the characters are great in particular Bunny Bunny Mcgarry. I don,t usually submit reviews but this book and the series deserves a plug.

Great listen
I got hooked on this author after the Stranger Times series. I thoroughly enjoy the characters and have literally laughed out loud at times.
I really enjoy this authors humour.

An absolute gem
Fabulous story, characters as varied as the forty shades of green and straight from the Emerald Isle. Narration perfect.

Looks like I’m in for the long haul
Stumbled across this one when audible threw a curve ball and recommend something that wasn’t a Brandon Sanderson novel.
Had a lot of fun. Narration was great. The two primary characters were nothing special, but the cast of supporting characters more than made up for it with their quirks; helped by being wonderfully voiced.
Excuse me, I have to go and google hurling.

Funny with fantastic narration
I really enjoyed this book set in Dublin and narrated by an incredibly talented voice actor. Hilarious in a blackly comic way and brought to life brilliantly by the narrator. Highly recommended
