About this listen
"To love God in the most practical way is to love our fellow beings. If we feel for others in the same way as we feel for our own dear ones, we love God. If, instead of seeing faults in others we look within ourselves we are loving God." (Meher Baba)
"Meher Baba is there doing things for you and your life you will never perceive. A mere twitch of his nose could split the planet, a twiddle of his finger could save your life. Luckily, his Infinite power is used in connection with an equally infinite knowledge and compassion. Baba rarely interferes. (I am only now repeating what Baba himself said.) Why alter events that occur in a system already self-perpetuating, self-correcting and self-destructive when it goes too far?" (Pete Townshend)
Meher Baba, born Merwan Sheriar Iran on February 25, 1894, was a beloved Indian spiritual master who asserted he was the Avatar, or God in human form. When he was just 19, he contacted five spiritual teachers before beginning his mission and gathering his own disciples in early 1922, at the age of just 27. From July 1925 to the end of his life, Baba maintained silence, communicating by means of an alphabet board or unique hand gestures.
In 1931, Meher Baba made the first of many visits to the West, where he attracted many dedicated followers. Baba continued what he called his "universal work", which included fasting and seclusion, until his death on January 31,1969. His samadhi in Meherabad, India, has become a place of international pilgrimage.
In this unique audiobook, actor-author Geoffrey Giuliano presents a true must have audio experience for all true Baba devotees, historians, casual listeners, curious commuters, and all school and university systems.
