Beautiful 💗
This book was so so lovely, easy to get hooked ! I enjoyed it so much I listened to it in a few short days on holidays Interstate. Way it is written makes you feel every emotion of the characters. Now into another of her books can't wait !

Brilliant stories
Loved listening to these stories of amazing women in the bible. Most of them only get a short mention, but the way the author tells the story can make us imagine how it really was. My only negative is the narrator. Her pronouncing of a lot of words is very odd and can distract from the story.

Brilliant stories but dissapointing performance.
This is the combined version of the books that are seperately recorded as well - which seems to be better performed from the samples. I wanted to use my credit on one and opted for it instead of using 5 credits for the individual books. It was an odd delivery, the narrator was at times akward and I lost the flow of the story quite often but it was bearable - the story was overpowering and I listened the whole way through. If you prefer a brilliant delivery though, go with the originals.

Uplifting
I enjoyed Francine’s accounts of these women of God.
My only disappointment was the mispronunciation
of many of the peoples and the place names. Also, whoever says ‘ecspecially’? It gave me the shudders. .

Great Book
I thoroughly enjoyed learning and reading this book. It often put a smile on my face and made me think and ponder. Even though it’s a fictional book but it’s teaching at the end of each chapter was scriptural. Even though it is fictional it had a lot of substance in it.

Great stories, disappointing narration
Wonderful stories of great women in the bible in the lineage of Jesus.
The director/ producers / proof listeners should have stepped in to guide the narrator, though I’m not sure if they would be able to change how the young woman pronounced words.
Wounant, counant dinant, ekspecially, instead of wouldn’t couldn’t didn’t especially. And so many more. I tried hard to not notice but it became harder and harder. Am I wrong to expect properly spoken English from an English speaking professional narrator?

The reader felt very robotic
I felt the reader really let down the story. It felt robotic and lacked thoughtful pauses and a variety in the reading rhythm and intonation
