Everyone needs to read this
This book is SO GOOD. the characters have interesting back stories and the feminine empowerment is awesome. spice is fantastic and some fun little twists in the plot!

Fantastic story
Really enjoyed the storyline and the storytelling. Totally worth the read and getting in hard copy.
Has that historical romance feeling that’s always interesting combined with fantasy.

Captured my attention from the beginning
I read several reviews that this book was very similar to ‘From Ash and Blood’ series, which made me hesitant. I really didn’t enjoy from Blood and Ash but decided to try A Kiss of Iron. Honestly the book was unique and had very little that was similar to From Blood and Ash. Sophisticated plots and the right amount of romance. The pace of the book is on the slower side but moves along fast enough to continue to capture my attention. It had some of my favourite tropes including forced proximity (including one bed), enemy to lovers, forbidden love, Fae shadow MMC, to name a few. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
There are strong references to child abuse and subsequent PTSD, so that may be a trigger for some readers.

Love! The chemistry between the main characters is amazing

Unfiltered view into mental illness. Ending with a twist.
Likes: Dirty daddy talk.
Dislikes: lots of teasing with abrupt interruptions. If you like edging this is for you.

narrator was amazing. the dude at the end was not.

Brilliant characters and storyline.
Really enjoyed this 1st book. I was hooked within the first couple of chapters. I’ve laughed and been totally engrossed even surprised at times.
