JD Kirk does it again
Thrilling story that carefully weaves in all our favourite characters (and a couple of not so much liked) at just the right moment.
As usual avid followers of DCI Jack Logan and his team are kept in suspense to the very end; an end that I’ve never been able to predict!
Angus King gave the exemplary performance we’ve come to expect - he is the voice of these characters after all - he brings them to life.
Highly recommended and bring in the next!

Magical Story teller
Every book I have listened too or read by JD Kirk and Angus King have been totally absorbing. Fast moving exciting and characters like old friends. This Killer of influence should have to be the most complicated and enjoyable, I love the way JD manages to work in his other character like Hoon, DI Filsen and even refers to Dave Gatwoods D I Harry Grimm. This only makes the story more alive! Love them all and hope there will be a book 21❤️

One of the best in the lot
Always find myself waiting for the next release in this series! Have read every book in it and related. But this one is one of my favourites! And now…. The wait begins! Thanks again to Author and Narrator for another fantastic listen!

bloody hell the last 3 minutes .....
I listened to half then 2 days later realised I had 90 secs left and heard the final 90 sec .

We Almost Lost Him
Another gripping tale about Jack Logan and his crew.

Outstanding
When the characters feel like old friends, and you care about what happens to them, you know the writing is top notch. Yet another fabulous instalment in the DCI Jack Logan series. Absolutely love these stories.

Bloody marvelous!
The perils faced by DCI Logan and team had me quaking at times, but again JD Kirk delivers the perfect blend of suspense with a liberal dash of humour! These characters are so beautifully drawn that the threads of their development in previous episodes continue to be perfectly woven. The reader is left feeling like they’re sharing an inside joke with old friends. I hope they return soon…

Another winner!
From the first sentence I was engaged & it felt like I was home.
The storyline was brilliant, the ending a surprise.
