About this listen

Masculinity in crisis!

Men's masculine behaviors and traits have been suppressed by popular culture combined with “egalitarian blank slate” ideals that have been integrated within institutional systems and supported by national and local governments for the last 50-70 years. Where are the benefits this egalitarian utopia promised? Why has it become so popular to shame, guilt, and insult masculinity and masculine behaviors? After 50 to 70 years of this, what are the results? It should be glaringly obvious to all that this has resulted in a very large subset of men who have become weak and useless in crises, a pathetic state for boys and men that leads to depression and violent despair.

A Dominant Masculine Presence addresses this very dilemma for the individual man by clearly defining the issues around so-called “toxic” masculinity and then defining the actual traits and behaviors that a dominant masculine man projects into the world. This book introduces the seven skills of a man with dominant masculine presence and firmly establishes why this is what is desperately needed by the individual man today, and provides ideas, examples, and techniques from history and the author’s own past that can be employed to acquire and put into practice your own dominant masculine presence. These examples include reading and using body language, vocal control, and emotional regulation that all men can use for success in everyday life. Clearly defined masculine traits and behaviors—and the emotional durability provided by traditional masculinity are presented as a guide to what every man should embed into his identity. Putting these principles and behaviors into practice will motivate and direct your path step by step to create for yourself an authentic dominant masculine presence.
