OMG a must read
First time I have read a novel from the author and OMG just floored. Fast pace action/ suspense romance that was out of this world. Tijan has created these broken, damaged main characters with a circle of friends that provide depth to the narrative. Jess and Trae are polar opposite but they are also alike and drawn to each other like moths to light. The story is raw and delves deeply into mafia territory but it is so much more. Do yourself a favour and experience the ride… it’s a bumpy but so so good.
The audio book performance was on point, including the accents for the mafiosos. Was literally at the edge of my seat till I finished it and then wow.., what just happened.

Disjointed
This was a hit all over the place! For a start, the FMC was hard to like, full of attitude which didn’t come across well. I’m sure she was meant to be written as a ‘take no sh*t’ woman but she was just annoying.
And how did the MCs love each other so quickly when they didn’t spend any time together and when they did they were arguing?!
Even though it ended on a cliffhanger, I’m not fussed about listening to the next book, especially since it focuses of Ashton, who was also an unlikeable character
