 Four high-school students in present-day New Orleans are torn apart by envy, passion, and tragedy.

Meredith, Brandon, Greg, and Stephen quickly discover the fragile boundaries between friendship and betrayal as they enter high school and form new alliances. An amazing journey into

I had read the novel when I was younger and when coming at the material via Audible, 15 some years later, the experience was complimented and enhanced by the medium. Christopher Rice writes New Orleans in such a way that you can't help but feel engulfed by it.
