Publisher's Summary
This book brings both life to the science of economics for the average person and possibly some added insight to even those who think they might know the subject. Listening to this book will not make you an economics professor, but it will help you to intelligently talk about economics. More importantly, it will help you perform in your role as a citizen and a voter within a free enterprise economy.

Good for an initial understanding
This is an excellent book if you’re looking for a well rounded understanding of economics and a fundamental level.

Content is awesome, narration is..
Mediocre.
Audio quality and volume levels jump about more than the global economic variables supremely explained within this book.
Professor Werner's work is a treasure devalued by the audio production.

Plain English explanations and reasons for economic decisions.
I had this book in Kindle but just never got to finishing it. So I got it in audible and just finished it. Yay. Really wish his next book where does money come from was in audible also. I am working up to understanding more thoroughly what is happening in the financial system. It seems really complicated but books like this help to fill in some gaps.
