Disappointing
I’ve never heard of ‘Shameless’ so I had no preconceptions as to the content. This is a book for women. Men might get something out of it, but the description should have made it clear before I committed money to it. I got a bit out of hearing the woman’s perspective on a variety of subjects, but it mostly left me dismayed. The book lost me completely when it said (and I quote) “in fact, while I’m at it, men don’t deserve us (women) at all”, which is sexist beyond belief and reduces the credibility of this body of work. Probably the worst audible I’ve bought, which is saying something since “The Flat Earth Conspiracy” is also in my library.
