Can you imagine only being awake for one hour each day? Can you imagine having to cram your entire existence into sixty measly minutes? Two minutes to shower. Three minutes to eat. Five minutes to watch TV. And in that 3600 seconds you have awake, imagine that you have to figure out:
- Who murdered the woman across the street? (You suspect it was the President of the United States, but can you prove it?)
- Why did your mom abandoned you when you were six years old? (Was it because she worked for the CIA? Or was it because of your condition?)
- What caused your strange condition where you wake up at exactly 3:00 a.m. then fall asleep exactly an hour later, then sleep for twenty-three hours? (Were you experimented on? If so, by who?)
- And most importantly, what is Project Sandman?

Refreshing storyline
So nice to have a storyline that has interesting differences. The family dynamic is enjoyable,the ongoing back story is another level of interest then you have the main story of each episode. Looking forward to the next one.

Great storytelling
Each of the shorter books fills out a fun and interesting tale with a man who can only be awake for 1 hour a day... Good listening

Interesting concept: 1hr per day
Thankful that I am not Henry.
I am also wondering if the drugs his mum had when he was still in the room, had anything to do with his ability to understand the cat?

what to do in an hour
Great story line, and motivation to get things done - I have no excuses! really enjoyed the storiies and the animals. Waiting for #6 to come out. Hopefully not long to wait now

Storytelling at its very best!
I wasn’t sure a book about someone who’s only awake for an hour a day would be any good. Turns out it was exceptionally good, Brilliant story telling, mystery, intrigue, delightfully funny parts and sections where it was tense and I just couldn’t put it down. Narration was perfect, he’s got the cat down so good I felt like it was a person. Would highly recommend,
