Great continuation on ‚123 Magic for kids‘
Our family has been practicing the ‚123 Magic for kids‘ for over 10 years and it’s been working well for everyone involved. But with teenagers needing a more mature approach I turned to this book hoping for guidance. Again Dr. Phelan does not disappoint. Full of practical, hands-on tips this book offers suggestions on how to assess rule-breaking in the grand scheme of things, set reasonable boundaries and what to do when these still get crossed. It reminds parents to self-assess and look at how we contribute to the relationship with our teenagers, and the positive steps we can take to stay connected.
The many examples in the book are ver help.
I highly recommend this book, even if you haven’t read or practiced 123magic for kids.
