演劇女子学校に入学した結城さやかは、劇作家を目指している。

同学年には同じく劇作家志望で、学内一の天才と謳われる設楽了がいた。

了は俳優の能力を引き出し、観客を魅了する舞台を作り上げる卓越した才能をもっていた。
