弘美さんが高校三年生の年、校内ではこっくりさんが流行っていた。
彼女の進学していた高校は昭和初期の創設だった旧校舎がまだ残っていて、
普段使われている現校舎と別に部活動の部室代わりに使用されていた。
おまけにおそらく旧校舎時代と同じ古さのはなれにあるトイレも立ち入り禁止にもかかわらず敷地内に残されていたそうだ。
その日も部活終わりに現校舎二階の教室に数人の友人と集まりこっくりさんを楽しんだが、
気づけばだいぶ表も暗くなり、校内に残っているのが弘美さんと友人二人きり……。
いざ帰る段になってそれはハッキリ姿を現した。
