「育夫君のお母さん」(25分)
東北出身の体験者の女性は18歳で地元を離れ一人暮らしを始めたのだが、ほどなく父親が病に倒れ入院をしてしまう。
実家は古くから続く呉服屋で母は父に代わって店を切り盛りせねばならず、家事や見舞の事もあって期間限定ですぐにとんぼ返りをした。
そんなとき、父の可愛がっている愛犬のシロを散歩に連れて出るといつものコースである橋で川中に向かって伸びる一本のロープを見つける。
魚とりの仕掛けかと最初は思ったのだが、その先に結わえられていたのは全く別のものだった。
