幽体離脱という現象がある。臨死体験者などが偶発的に幽体離脱するケースはまま知られているが、雄二さんは意図的にこれをコントロールしていたことがあるという。
初めての体験は中学生の時だった。寝ているうちにのどが渇き、水を飲みに行こうか否かを迷っているうちに、急に体が軽くなった気がしたのだという。
目を開けてみると、部屋の天井が迫ってくる。間もなく、天井が迫っているのではなく、 自分が浮いているのだとわかった。
このことを機に自分の意志で幽体離脱ができるようになったらしいのだが、ある出来事をきっかけに二度と幽体離脱はするまいと決めたという。一体彼の身に何が起きたというのか。
