内容紹介
「上へ続く花畑」(20分)
沖縄県在住の川上さんという女性は幼いころ事情があって祖母とともに暮らしていた時期があるそうです。
同時期にやはりご両親を亡くされた従姉のお姉さんと祖母の息子さんとで過ごしていたそうですが、しばらくしてお婆さんがガンを患い他界し、それから二十年後に東京に出て一人暮らしだった従姉のお姉さんも白血病に侵され亡くなったそうです。
お姉さんは最期の時を懐かしい祖母の家で祖母の息子さんと時々は川上さんとも過ごして、三人は昔を思い出したりしていたそうです。そうして従姉のお姉さんの17回忌でした。
目を閉じ読経に耳を澄ませていた川上さんが気配を感じてふと目を開けるとそこには若かりし日の祖母と二人の子供、広い花畑が広がっていたのです。©2021 Wataru shirotani
