内容紹介

たけしくんの家の近所にふしぎな人が住んでいます。
林さんという、四十歳くらいのおじさんです。

たけしくんと妹のきみ子ちゃんはよく林さんの庭で遊んでいました。
林さんは本物の魔法使いのように、体を小さくしたり空を飛んでみせたりしました。
空に飛んで行った林さんを心配していると、いつの間にか林さんが戻ってきていました。
だけど何だか変です。その林さんはたけしくんと同い年くらいの少年の姿なのです。

「本当の林さんは家の中にいるよ」

そう言われ、たけしくんときみ子ちゃんは家の中へ入っていきます。
すると本当に林さんは部屋の中にいました。
安心する二人を、林さんはヒョウに変身させて檻に閉じ込めてしまったのです。
その檻には大きな虎が！

二人は一体どうなってしまうのでしょう？
林さんは本当に魔法使いなのでしょうか？
林さんの本当の目的には、まだ誰も気づいていませんでした。
