Вот он попал, причем в прошлое. А время на дворе самое развеселое — лето 1941 года. И закрутилось. Запасной полк-передовая-отступление-окружение… И оставаться в этой смертельной круговерти страшно, а соскочить еще страшнее. Но сумел, вывернулся, на теплое местечко пристроился, только не очень-то теплым оно оказалось. Если не пули, то осколки немецких бомб так и норовят в гроб вогнать. И непонятно, удастся ли вернуться обратно или навсегда придется устраиваться в этом неуютном мире. Поживем — увидим.
