Liane Moriarty
While Moriarty has written variously since childhood – first crafting a story entitled 'The Mystery of Dead Man’s Island' for her father, and then in her advertising and marketing career – it wasn’t until later that Moriarty pursued life as an author.
Motivated by the ‘fever of sibling rivalry’ she felt upon hearing that her younger sister Jaclyn was to publish a novel, Moriarty decided to try her hand at writing novels too. She enrolled in a postgraduate degree at Macquarie University and it was during her time here that Moriarty wrote her first novel, Three Wishes. Since that time Moriarty’s writing career has gone from strength to strength with her books translated into thirty nine languages and selling millions of copies around the world.
Moriarty’s 2014 novel Big Little Lies debuted at number one on the New York Times best sellers list, and its success caught the attention of Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon who approached Moriarty to secure film and television rights to the story. The Big Little Lies television series (2017) stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, and Adam Scott. Listen to the Big Little Lies audiobook, narrated by Caroline Lee.
Liane Moriarty was born November 1966 in Sydney, Australia. She lives in Sydney with her husband and children.

“Earphones comfy? Go!! I could barely put this down. I vacuumed, washed dishes, walked the dog, cleaned the pool, ironed all while listening to this book. I was enthralled with Liane Moriarty’s characters and style of writing. Do yourself a favour and have a listen, you won’t regret it.” Natalie, Audible listener.

“The Husband’s Secret is a wonderful balance of humour, tragedy, regret and consequences. The characters are all likeable and the reader/listener is keen to find out what will become of their lives. [Caroline Lee’s] reading of this novel and her characterisations were faultless. She is superb. [The audiobook] made me both laugh and cry. Any novel that can evoke emotion is well written and the characters in The Husband’s Secret are all believable. Any of them could be one of my friends and I finished the book wanting only the best for each of them.” Margaret, Audible listener.
