Ron Hogue was born and raised near Pittsburgh, PA. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1998 from Southeastern College. For over 20 years, he taught a variety of subjects including mathematics, computer applications, and technical courses. He was recognized twice as one of the top ten New Horizons applications instructors in the world (Dec 2004 and Oct 2005). In 2013, Ron created his first online course on Camtasia. With his best-selling courses, he has taught over 10,000 students online. Ron started working for Microsoft in 2018 and wrote his first book, Camtasia Mastery, in 2019.
