Kimberly Cutter grew up in Florida and New York. She received her MFA from the University of Virginia, and has written for New York, Elle, W, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire, where she is currently a Contributing Editor. Her first book, The Maid, a novel of Joan of Arc, was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She is currently at work on her second novel. She lives with her husband in upstate New York.
