Kate Walbert is the author of She Was Like That: New and Collected Stories; His Favorites, one of The Atlantic Magazine's best books of 2018; The Sunken Cathedral; A Short History of Women, finalist for the LA Book Prize in Fiction, and one of the New York Times ten best books of 2009; Our Kind, a finalist for the National Book Award; The Gardens of Kyoto, and Where She Went.
