Born in 1969 outside Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden, Fredrik T Olsson left his hometown in the early nineties to pursue a career in theatre. Moving to Stockholm to become an actor, he soon found his stage appearances taking the backseat to his writing, and theatre taking the backseat to TV and film.
Today, Fredrik T Olsson has spent more than twenty years as a screenwriter, working in genres from sitcom to thriller, occasionally moonlighting as a director and a standup comedian. He also hasn’t quite let go of the belief that he will become an actor when he grows up.
Fredrik T Olsson’s first novel Chain of Events was published in 2014, selling to more than 25 countries. He lives in Stockholm, dividing his time between writing screenplays and books.
