Dan Spencer grew up in a commuter town outside London. He studied creative writing at UEA and the University of Glasgow. He’s also a teacher of international students and has worked in Riyadh and Osaka. He is a prize-winning author and his prose poems and flash fictions regularly appear in journals including Stand, Popshot, Litro and Gutter, among other places. In longer form, he likes to explore our curious relationships with ourselves and one another, and why we do the things we do. Right this moment, you’ll find him by the sea near Newcastle, with a wife, two lovely daughters and two lovely cats.
