Barbara Kimball was born in 1942 and raised in a small town on the Oregon Coast. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at the young age of 9 years old. For 53 of her years, she has been especially blessed to be married to her life partner, Duane. God has gifted her and Duane with four beautiful children, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Barb's 64-year journey as a Christian has produced a life based on prayer. God has continually called her to more and deeper prayer and a life of encouraging others. Barb shares beautiful triumphs as well as heartbreak and struggles... all of which are followed by joy as she continues to learn to be obedient to Christ's call. It is the author's desire to encourage and teach others to have a deep prayer life with their Heavenly Father.
Along with a lot of her family, Barb lives in Ketchikan, Alaska -- her own little piece of heaven.
