My name is Annette Phillip and I am originally from the Caribbean Island of Dominica (not Dominican Republic). I presently reside in New York City for the past sixteen years. I loved to read and write since I was a little girl. Publishing books before was very expensive and so I was unable to at the time, but thanks to Amazon and other outlets I was finally able to get my work out there. I loved writing poems long before I realized I wanted to write books. I have a string of poems that I have not published as yet but this will be my next step. Reading and writing are two of my passions and I will definitely have more of my work out there in the near future. Nobody should give up on their dreams, for one day it will become a reality.
