About this listen
"He is my gift to you, this Yule's Eve. Shall you accept him from me?"
In a world of orcs and powerful men, Lydia is a shy, widowed washerwoman, forgotten and alone—until the day the orc drops in, with a full sack of laundry on his back.
He's tall, rangy, and utterly confounding, with his silver hair, his deep jolly laugh, and his twinkling, coal-black eyes. And when he offers to bring Lydia great joy, it's a gift that just keeps giving, drawing her ever deeper into his wicked, wondrous charms…
At least, until he invites her to spend Yule at his cozy, candlelit cabin. And when Lydia arrives, he offers her a brand-new gift, wrapped in a pretty red bow…
Another orc.
A stranger.
For her… merriment.
And he's the biggest, most terrifying monster she's ever seen in her life.
Will Lydia refuse her hideous gift, and run alone into the cold winter's night? Or can she find joy with a monster… or maybe even a home?
Yuled by the Orcs is a hot and cozy holiday fantasy romance novella. Comes after The Governess and the Orc, but also can be listened to as a total standalone. Happily ever after guaranteed.

Weakest Orc Sworn book so far
Even though this is only a novella, it actually feels too long considering the lack of real plot or character development. The only character I actually liked was Ezog - he's an adorable cinnamon roll. But even he didn't have much personality beyond that, and the other two characters were worse. Sigtryggr seems way too cavalier about how his actions affect the feelings of those he loves. Lydia's only real contribution to the story is as the female in their MMF threesome fantasy. She has no personality of her own and simply goes along with what the orcs want. The plot is basically just one spicy scene after another, with very little to hold them together.
The narrator is ok with the male voices, but his voice for Lydia isn't great.
In my opinion you're safe to skip this one, there's not really any overlap with the other books apart from "Tryggred by the orc" which is about Sigtryggr's son.
