We can't be together.
Nurses get together with cops all the time. That's not the problem with our pairing. The fact that I've known him for most of my life because he's my brother's best friend. One of my best friends, even. That's the problem.
But after he visits me at the hospital with a bag of peanut M&M's and a Diet Coke, I'm rethinking if Mally Miller is only a friend. But can I trust him with my darkest kink and deepest need? The need to have him take control...with force.

Good plot but..
Lance Greenfield did a fantastic job! One of the reasons I actually chose to get this audible. Daisy Jane was a good female narrator but she wasn’t believable when she was imitating Mally.
Very slow story to start off with, we only see any real action the end of chapter 6 with Mally pleasing himself.
There are 2 instances where the heroine Sam talks about pleasing herself yet there is no elaboration or actual scene describing this which is disappointing.
Also definetly would’ve preferred more dialogue between Mally & Sam during s*x, would’ve made this book more hotter.
There were quite a few s*x scenes that were mentioned in passing that could’ve been elaborated on but weren’t, for instance when Sam & Mally got back from shopping & they were in the kitchen..
There were 2 other role play scenes that we read about but we’re not detailed or explained, which was a let down- would’ve liked the book to focus on more of these role play in details- the book is meant to be about role playing consent isn’t it?
This book really needed a lot more dialogue for this book to be considered very spicy.
