Disappointing
This started out well. A strong female MC who had taken over as Alpha leader of her pack after her father died.
She came across as mature - putting the safety and needs of her pack and sister before her own future happiness. She then turned into a weak putz by the end.
Then comes the Warlord. I enjoy reading about submission in the bedroom and strong alpha men but this guy was just a misogynistic asshole.
There was little to no acknowledgement of Rowan's abilities or strength. He just humiliated her and basically turned her into his f#$k toy. Spanking is one thing but doing it in front of people to ensure maximum humiliation is a turn off.
Totally ignoring the word no and telling her it was his right to do whatever he pleased is rape not domination. Trying to hide that behind the whole "fated mate" concept and suggesting she climaxes constantly is just bad writing.
The narrator did a fantastic job.

weird daddy kinks
if youve got a rape daddy kink this is for you... what happened to the notion of consent... this is rapey, degrading and infuriating.... narrators did a great job tho.
