just... what?

This has been recommended so many times to me and just... no. It is so nonsensical and I'm willing to suspend belief for Fae, men with serpent hair, and nephilim. and just about anything really but I couldn't justify most of this book. I'm sorry. It was simply too much. The female narrator's recordings seemed spliced from 2 different sessions and sound qualities. The male narrator was good. and the premise was interesting but not executed well to me. I wanted to like it so much.
