About this listen

Trevor Parker and his best friend, Mike Thompson, have been accepted to NCSU and are one step closer to their ultimate goal: winning the gold medal for wrestling at the Olympics. To commemorate the occasion, Mike sends Trevor over to his house to grab something from his room, but when Trevor enters, he walks in on Mike’s father, Logan, while he’s changing. A year and a half have passed since the death of Logan’s wife, Carol. A year and a half gone since Logan stopped being their coach.

Reminded of the promise the three had made to each other years ago that, with Logan’s help, one of them would take home the gold, Trevor confronts his former wrestling coach, and Logan agrees to resume their training. Knowing his future is secure, Trevor can rest easy. Except, he can’t. Seeing his coach in a new light has awoken a deep yearning within him; one he knows he shouldn’t act upon. But when Logan invites him over to train and they hit the mat, Trevor will soon discover the feeling is mutual.
