Publisher's Summary
So you may ask, who is Adam Connor? He is the recently divorced, Academy Award-winning actor who just moved in next door with his kid. He also happens to be an exquisite male specimen and the most infuriating sly bastard I've ever come across.
While I was being thoughtful by not breaking and entering, and was actually considering going over to offer him a shoulder to cry on (you know, because of his divorce), instead he had me thrown in jail after a small incident. Jail, people! He was supposed to grant me countless orgasms as a thank you, not a jail cell.
After that day, I was mentally plotting ways to strangle him. So what if my body did more than just shiver when he whispered dirty little things in my ear? I can't be held responsible for that.
Even if he and his son were the best things since sliced bread, I couldn't fall for him. No matter what promises he whispered on my skin, my curse wouldn't let us be. I wasn't a damsel in distress - I could save myself, thank you very much - but deep inside, I still hoped Adam Connor would be the hero of my story.

Fun read/listen
Great fun read. Whilst a sand-alone book I would recommend you listen to ‘To Love Jason Thorn’ first as there is a cross over of characters and storyline in this book.

my fav from this author
The audio of To Hate Adam Connor is fab, I LOVED it! The narrators did a wonderful performance of the characters, Lucy is just so funny and nutty at times, I couldn't help but laugh as I listened. To date - my fav book from this author.

Love it!
Great Narration! Loved the story as well as great twists, and I couldn't guess what was going to happen next!
if you like Enemies to lovers sort of slow burn but level 3/4 spice then this book is for you. There is quite a bit of spice! I listen to books on 1.40-2.00 speed. I always recommend if you struggle or aren't used to certain voices change the audio speed. I'm used to people talking fast that's why I have the speed on higher plus I get through the book quicker as I have to know how it ends!
I'd also look at trigger warnings as there are a couple of full on moments.
If you are wanting to know the Triggers/Spoiler for this book to prepare yourself, then keep reading.

There is a forced scene not between the main characters but a side character trying to 'grape.'
A kid almost drowning and also a breaking an entering and having to hide away. If any of that triggers you, be mindful. Even though they are small parts to the story as someone who's had all 3 happen to them, it can be triggering. I still loved the story, but everyone handles it differently. I still highly recommend this book I wasn't sure at first, but it was one of those books I struggled to stop listening to as I just couldn't put it down! Loved this book!

Loved it!!
Absolutely loved it!!! Whilst I love the relationship between Adam and Lucy… the relationship that stole the show was Olive and Lucy. Well narrated!! Just wish I knew to read the To Love Jason Thorn story first!

Fantastic
Best narration I’ve ever heard. Very easy to listen to. The story avoids obvious cliches, and builds strong, likeable, female leads.

Loveee 🤍🤌🏼
Lucy moves in with her bestie Olive an author and her husband movie star husband Jason who just so happen to live next door to Adam who is also a famous movie star… what started out as an almost tragic story turned out to be the best thing for all of them!
The character building was great and the story line was just as good. I will say there was a few things I wasn’t expecting and I love that about books like this, keeps you on your toes!! It was a great easy read🤌🏼
I will say the “curse” thing got on my nerves but ehhh and the fact that the epilogue was mostly about one 🌶️scene that stretched on forrrrrever😑🙄
Sebastian Yorks voice is a wet dream🫠🤤 so if you have Audible, do yourself a favour and listen to it🥵 (it’s also included in your membership!)
