Publisher's Summary

Sinfully sexy rock stars are the cornerstone of New York Times best-selling author, S.L. Scott's prolific career. Dive into Hard to Resist, a series of stand-alone Rock Star Romances and then read the new spin-off series, The Crow Brothers.

He was everything she never wanted. Yet, she couldn't stop thinking about him.

Soulful, amber eyes. A sex, drugs, and rock n'roll reputation. A body that beckoned for sin.

Three years ago, Rochelle Floros was living her dream come true... then lost it all. On the worst day of her life, the last person she expected to be there for her was a rock star and tabloid favorite. Now, she's trying to rebuild her life after the tragedy that destroyed her fairy tale. Slowly, she found herself captivated by the bad boy drummer she had known for years.

Rochelle was caught between the grief that shrouded her heart and the charismatic man that made it race. What she didn't know is if he was being sincere or toying with her heart.

The Redemption is about finding the pulse of your soul in the most unlikely places and giving love a chance to grow.

Can what she wants really be what she needs? With his rhythm and her passion, can they make music together? Or will their harmony be lost forever?

Wow

This was a second chance at love. Dex was more at war with himself then anyone else. Rochelle waited patiently and not so patiently at times for Dex to get himself together. Was an interesting read. Narration was awesome too.

a very frustrating jigsaw

well Ms Scott, In my opinion you did not pull this one off at all.
I thought that I should have reread book 2 so as to remind myself of dex and his troubles/antics and in doing so this story would fit better but after, around ... chapter 14 I decided that wouldn't have mattered.
I was so frustrated at the push, pull on again off again relationship that i rolled my eyes constantly. unfortunately It just didn't connect with me it felt so disjointed . the dialect from a writers aspect were poignant and heartfelt, but putting them into the context of the story just mishmashed everything. I felt this lacked depth and grit regarding dex and the fact that Rochelle still had huge issues didn't reallt come through at all. to me she just kept getting weaker in my eyes. dex's mood changes and what she was going through wasn't really described deeply enough for me to empathise.
and dex's guilt and conscience didn't surface enough for me to understand just what and why he was giving Rochelle the runaround.
the 1st book was staggeringly good and the 2nd I was feeling tepid about but after this one, it that one was good too . I'm not trying book 4 I'm not risking it.
I absolutely loved Ms Scott's dive bar series and some of the crow bros series as well but I feel like she's run out of steam and this book is one giant yoyo.
