About this listen
I was supposed to seduce the dragon king, but before I could, he claimed me as his.
Now I’m chained to him, trapped in an ancient mating process I neither want nor understand.
I’ve got to get out, but there’s only one way to do that now—and it involves a much more permanent type of shackle.
I have no idea what will happen if I agree to be the king’s mate, but one thing's for sure…
My life will never be the same again.
This romantic fantasy was lightly inspired by Beauty and the Beast and is recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual content.

Fun and sexy PNR and great narration
I really enjoyed this audiobook! It has a really interesting and cool take on vampires. I’m interested to learn more about the world too, considering the amount of supernatural romances I have read, I am impressed there were unique aspects to this story and world building!
The romance was great because it is def not insta-love, they have to work to it. And Seren is a great balance of demanding respect and being badass while also supporting the hero and respecting his position as king.
Their chemistry was amazing but I like that the focus was more on the relationship than any sexual acts.
I will say I was frustrated at times because I felt like I could think of an easy solution to some of the problems and I wasn’t sure why the characters wouldn’t have thought of them. But that’s my only issue with this book.
I didn’t even mind that it was single narration! I thought Avie Page did a great job with the male voice and I also liked how she differentiated all of the characters.
Note that this is not a stand alone so it does hve. Cliffhanger.
Overall a really fun book! I’m interested to read more in the series!
