The Cop Who Saved Me is a wonderful story of love that starts to bloom after extenuating circumstances cause two people to meet.

She has been through a lot in her young-adult life, and she is seemingly stuck in a cycle that is filled with bad sex and abuse at the hand of her live-in lover. It all culminates when he decides that he and his friends shall share her for the evening. The story takes a turn when she is miraculously saved from that, and she enters a new phase in her life where she gets the time to heal physically and emotionally from her past. She also gets a new lease on love from the most unexpected suitor.

Vicious thug gets his come uppance.

I hate violence, especially men using it against women. I found this story particularly disturbing in that regard. just thinking this happening now somewhere makes me cringe. It was a good H E A, though. I was confused about the use of the word CARRIED, twice. I presume it was the same as ESCORTED in this context. Overall a good listen.
