About this listen

Sophia Perkins is a member of the Bow Street Ladies, a group of women that investigates crimes cast aside by the Bow Street Runners of the Home Office. With the help of her fellow "Ladies" Sophia is determined to uncover the truth about the murder of the Marquess of Arlington.

Marcus Harrington, the Duke of Raqueport, has been fighting his past and future. With responsibilities to his family, he has found an outlet to quell his anger in the dark recesses of the London underground. But when the darkness reaches his home, he finds the very thing that assuaged his darkness is the very thing that could very well take everything from him.

Marcus finds himself relying on Sophia to uncover the dark truth that risks Marcus's life and the family they wish to build together. In order to save Marcus they must discover who killed the marquess.
